Is it possible that one may take birth in anither universe after leaving

his gross body? If the subtle body is always there, then how can it cross

through the covering of the Universe?

First, one may wander to another universe at the time of destruction of the

universes when all are merged into the body of Maha visnu. But even if one

is still within this universe, if your karma warrants that you should

transfer

to another universe (although we don't hear about this in the sastra as

such)

then the modes of nature will figure out a way to transfer you to another

universe without difficulty. How, I don't know.
