Guest guest
>From the old texts: Sugriva (das) HKS (NJNK - D) TV and the four regulative principles --------------------------- Dear Sri Visnupada, please accept my humble obeisances. In the communications press conference in Wiesbaden/Germany the GBC HG Ravindra Svarupa Prabhu presented ISKCON to the public. When he spoke about the four regulative principles he stated that watching TV is included in the principle "no gambling". He didn't explain why. In the first german communication seminars in NJNK/Germany he lectured about solutions for social problems. There he stated that if devotees want to solve problems in their community, they first of all must throw out all the TV sets. A godbrother told me that You have stated during a lecture in Denmark that watching TV is the fifth principle. I would like to know what is the official GBC law on this issue. Your servant Sugriva das (Text COM:310603) --------- Harikesa Swami TV and the four regulative principles --------------------------- As far as I know there is no GBC law on TV watching. It is a useless activity. (Text COM:311970) ---------
