When I am thinking like this, I > forget that so much mercy has already been given. Why is this? Am I > simply to dull to understand what mercy really is? > It is normal for a sincere devotee to always want more and more mercy from the Lord. This is not unusual. Since the spiritual nature is unlimited, it is natural that the desire for gaining the mercy of the Lord is unlimitedly increasing. > Also, how can I (SORRY) avoid the tendency to think that "Yes, I > have received the mercy" and then forget that I always need to pray > for mercy? > If you think that you have gotten enough mercy, then usually this means that you have fallen on the material platform and consider yourself very advanced. At such times, one is factually in maya. One should understand that and not accept such a situation and strive to advance more and more while understanding that one is not at all advanced. We should always be meek and humble and with a great hope to gain the mercy of the Lord. We should never think that we have attained that mercy and there is nothing more needed. > Your aspiring sevant, > Bk.Damon.
