material energy is spiritual because: sarvam khalv idam brahma, everything

is a manifestation of the spiritual energy, everything is Brahman. But there

is nirguna Brahman and saguna Brahman. Nirguna Brahman means Brahman

manifesting it's spiritual quality as it normally is, uncontaminated and

saguna Brahman is Brahman manifesting as material quality for the purpose of

giving us a facility to act out our illusions in maya So this material world

is a covered existence. It's real, but it's covered. We cannot see it for

what it really is and that covering is maya which has covered this spiritual

energy and now we cannot understand it for what it is. So it is ultimately

spiritual and for one who uses everything in Krsna's service, he can see the

spiritual nature of it. And in fact he can even see the spiritual nature of

all things even if he is not able to engage them in Krsna's service because

he sees how Krsna is engaging this in His service to keep everybody in maya.

So yes, it's ultimately all spiritual, but you have to be very special to

see like that. Not that we say, "Yes, this is also the spiritual world,

therefore I can do anything here, engaging anyway in the material world and

that's also spiritual." It is not so. Some things you do are spiritual, some

things are downright material.
