However, chanting 24 hours a day is the goal for all Gaudiya Vaisnavas. So what Prabhupada means is that we should mold our lives in such a way that by following the sadhana process and doing service, we can become so purified that as we become older and more spiritually mature that we will desire to chant 24 hours a day and then come to the platform of actually doing it.
