Guest guest
I forgot to mention the most important leadership quality in my last reply. That is because I answered from the point of view of those who are already committed to the leadership role. In reality, the first step in becoming a leader is to accept the role of the leader within the heart. One who is to become a leader must first of all become a good follower of some great leader. When one becomes a good follower, then he molds his life according to the desires and instructions of that leader he has accepted. Thus he gets the firm and solid background required to lead others. On the request of that authority, or on the urging of the Lord in the heart, the prospective leader should come to the point of consciously accepting the leadership role and committing himself fully to that role on behalf of the higher authorities. If he does this, then the path of success is open. One cannot become a real leader unless he commits himself fully to leading others. This also implies taking responsibility for those you lead, including all their problems and needs. Unless one fully commits to this responsibility, one will always think that there is a chance to step back and renounce that role if it becomes too much to bear. So commitment to the service of your guru as a leader is essential for success.
