Guest guest
The master's lamp A zen master and his disciple were walking on a road in the dead of night. The master was holding a lantern. - Master, asked the disciple, is it true that you can see in the dark? - Yes, it is true. - Then why do you carry a lantern? - So that others do not bump into me. The radishes lesson (islamic tale) A man named Abdulalim living in Fez once received the visit of man who was very anxious and dissatisfied. The reason was that he could not stay calm during his prayers and meditation. - I can teach you a very simple method, said Abdulalim. You just close your ears and think of radishes. The man asked: - Before or after the prayers? - During the prayers. The right invocation One day a man approached a famous master and asked him: - I regularly invoke the name of the Bouddha Amida, and sometimes because of falling asleep I come to neglect this practice, what to do in order to defeat this obstacle? - It's very simple, answers the master. Invoke the name of Amida while you are wide awake.
