Guest guest
PRIORITIES CHANGE Devotee: Please honour the mahaprasadam immediately. Visitor lady: Thank you very much for reminding me to honour mahaprasadam. Devotee: Why? What happened? Visitor lady: Last time, I had lost my golden earrings in the temple. I didn?t know where I had kept it.Fortunately, the subsequent week when I came to the temple, a devotee gave me those earrings. Devotee: Actually, devotees are very honest. The material world is so corrupt, if they find that no one is seeing, then they would put the earrings in their pocket. Visitor lady: Not only that. The next time, my daughter lost her golden necklace. I really searched through many places. Finally, again when we came to the temple, the subsequent week, we got this golden necklace in the lost and found department. I really appreciate the devotees. Devotees very honestly returned this golden necklace. Devotee: You see! I told you. Devotees are very honest. Canakya Pandit says " One of the symptoms of a civilised person is that he sees others property as stone." Devotees are not interested in others property. Visitor lady: But twice something different happened. Devotee: What do you mean? Visitor lady: Twice some devotee gave me mahaprasadam, and I kept it on the table and just went to wash my hands and mouth. When Icame back, to my great amazement, I saw that the mahaprasadam was missing! What do you have to say about this? Devotee: When a person becomes a devotee, his priorities change. HARE KRISHNA !!
