Did you know there are people entering university now who...

 

....Are too young to remember the NASA space shuttle blowing up.

 

....Their lifetime has always included "AIDS".

 

....To them, the Hare Krishnas are an 'established religion'

 

....Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic.

 

....They've probably never seen, even on video, the original "Star Wars"

 

....About 70% (In Britain) have never even attended a Church service,

including for weddings.

 

....The CD was introduced the year they were born and they've probably never

even touched a vinal.

 

....They have always had an answering machine.

 

....They will not remember "The Cold War"

 

....They cannot fathom not having a remote control.

 

....They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

 

....They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who J. R. even is.

 

....If you mention "Star Trek", they will probably not think of William

Shatner as Captain Kirk, but rather a complete new set of actors. Instead of

Mr Spock, they will think of that guy "Data".

 

....They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

 

....Words like 'internet', 'website', 'downloading' and 'Gigabytes' were

commonly used before they were 10 years old.

 

....The old Commodore 64 and Vic 20 home computers sound more like pop groups

to them.

 

....Most of their friends at high school had a mobile phone
