MISS O BRIEN IN ZION

 

There once was a girl named O'Brien

Who taught holy hymns to a lion

Of the lady theres now

Some in the lions tum-tum

The rest twangs a harp up in Zion.

 

A SHY GIRL

 

A shy girl was Molly Mc Clure

With a mind that was holy and pure

She fainted away

In a delicate way

If anyone mentioned manure.

 

SQUEAKY SHOES AMONG THE PEWS

 

A young lady named Annie O'Hare

Tried to steal out of church during prayer

But the squeak of her shoes

Woke all in the pews

So she sat down again in despair.
