One afternoon when Sri's wife was away, he decided to have a feast at

Govindas! (yum. yum.)

 

So, here seated was our man Sri waiting in great anticipation.

 

After about 23 minutes, the waiter finally showed up with a bowl of soup.

As he turned away to return to the kitchen, Sri howlered: "Hariboool...!"

 

WAITER: "Yes prabhu, is there something wrong?"

 

SRI: "The soup. Taste it."

 

WAITER: "I beg your pardon, prabhu?"

 

SRI: "Taste it."

 

WAITER: "But, prabhu, I can assure you that the soup is excellent."

 

SRI: "Taste it."

 

WAITER: "Prabhuji, the soup was made this morning of the finest

ingredients."

 

SRI: "Taste it!"

 

WAITER: exasperated, "All right, I'll taste it." Then after a pause he said,

"Where is the spoon?"

 

To which Sri replied triumphantly, "Ah ha!!"
