Once (in 1983) myself and then Yadunath prabhu (now Radha Charan das TKG)

were walking back from hearing a class at the Krishna Balaram mandir by one

devotee who was describing how this world is so despicable that the level

of enjoyment is similar to that of the hogs and dogs in the street.

As we walked and chated we walked down the path that leads to the Goshala

where I was living at that time. As we were about to round the round corner

suddenly there was this breath taking stench of human stool - and it was

not in the best of health either.......! Both of us dry reached, as it took

our breath away.

Covering our noses we turned the corner to see one olde baba hoisting his

dhoti and running off into one of the houses.

Within seconds there was this patter of little feet, running as fast as

they could, to which two pigs ran right past us and buried their noses

eagerly into the remnants deposited there for them.

Needless to say, we gained some realisation at that point, and reflected

back to that class, on how this devotee mentioned that this must be similar

to how the devas view our level of enjoyment in this world, then what to

speak of the denizens of the Vaikunthas viewing us (or the devas).

Puts a whole new meaning on pigging out!!!!
