Guest guest
Due to his performance (rather lack of it), the infuriated Life Membership (LM) dept head threatened to fire Sri from the rolls. Furious, Adi the old hat at the dept and the senior partner of the two, came storming into the LM head's office, sheepishly followed by Sri. "You can't do this", said Adi. "I don't care," the prabhu said. "Things have gotten out of hand. He is loosing us laxmi." "What do you mean, out of hand?" Adi demanded. "I'll show you what I mean," the prabhu said. He turned to Sri and said, "Tell me, how much is six times seven?" Sri thought for several seconds and then a several more. Finally he grumpled, "Thirty-one?" The prabhu turned to Adi and said, "I rest my case." "Oh, come on now," said Adi, "Why are you making such a big deal of it? After all, he only missed it by one."
