COM will bounce any > mail from a distrusted person saying, "Sorry, user does not like to > receive mail from you". Very good! I'd like to use this too, but I think there should be optional messages. Is it possible? Though I'd like to stop receiving email from some persons, I wouldn't like them to receive such a message. I myself wouldn't like someone sending me that. Perhaps something more neutral like "You're not allowed to send mail to this user" or something would be a good second option. ys fd

If there are no objections I will change the message >according to your suggestion. In appreciate the reason for not wanting this message to sound harsh, but it is also important that the sender knows that this was the wish of the *user*. This second message sounds very similar to what people get who have been banned from COM. Several of them have been complaining that the sysop banned them without caring about if the COM member wanted to hear from them. So it seems like it would be important to let "distrusted persons" know that it's actually the intended *receiver* who doesn't want to receive mail from them. Otherwise, Rakt is likely to get a lot of complains from these distrusted people. Maybe you could write something slightly softer than the first option like "This user would prefer not receiving any mail from you.", or something that makes it equally clear. Guest guest
Some suggestions: Your letter to XYZ could not be delivered for confidential reasons. Your letter to XYZ was rejected by the system because it contained the Good Times e-mail virus. XYZ is too busy, don't even bother sending mail. XYZ is allergic to your letters, so it was not delivered for medical reasons. ys rakt
