Change unread

Usually when I would run the command: change unread ??, the run: list unread

I would get a list of the last however many letters I asked to be unread.

Then when I pressed enter the unread letters would be viewed. Now, for some

reason, whenever I use that command and then try to view the letters I also

see the letters I have sent. How can I change it back? How did it change to

this?
