Guest guest Posted September 18, 2001 Report Share Posted September 18, 2001 JSS is right that in any other software, such kind of internet connection is called a LAN connection (i.e. connecting to the internet through the LAN). Also, WinCOM does not give any message that the option is not available, so it is a bit confusing. Perhaps WinCOM 43 could accept and display "LAN" as choice but internally use "Internet" and "None" when no IP is defined for LAN in nodeinfo.ini. That would make the most sense.
