lost sent files

Just now, as I was online, my computer froze, right at the point toward the

end, where a box comes up that says something like "Importing Texts".

(Though I see it every time I log on, I don't remember the exact wording.)

 

The seven messages that had been in my Out basket were now in Pending Sent

Mail.

 

I tried Ctrl-Alt-Del, but the computer remained frozen. So I turned off the

power.

 

After rebooting, I saw that the seven messages were still in Pending Sent

Mail. So I logged on. But the Pending Sent Mail box still showed seven

messages. So I opened the box.

 

The list showed Subject, etc. for four of the messages, as usual, but for

the other three, simply the word Note at the far left of the screen where

the number of the text usually is.

 

I tried to Resend all seven. The four recognisable ones went okay, but not

the three identified by only the word Note.

 

My problem is that I have no idea what those three messages were, nor do I

know how to find out. Probably I was responding to something, but I don't

know what.

 

Can anyone help me?
