Guest guest
I have uploaded following files to "(Computer) Programs (devotee-made)": WCOMW36.ZIP (370k) WinCOM version 36 (16-bit for Windows 3.x) WCOMX36.ZIP (364k) WinCOM version 36 (32-bit for Win 95/98 and NT) MCOMM07.SIT (283k) MacCOM version 7 (for 68K Mac) MCOMP07.SIT (317k) MacCOM version 7 (for PowerMac) To install it simply unzip/unstuff the file in your WinCOM/MacCOM directory. The main changes in WinCOM 36 since WinCOM 34 are: - PGP and ZIP are built-in (in PGPLIB??.DLL). - The Cyrillic font contains diacritics. - The main part of the address book is implemented. It is activated if you run WinCOM without Comfort (WINCOMX.EXE instead of COMFORT.EXE). The main changes in WinCOM 36 / MacCOM 7 since WinCOM 34 / MacCOM 6 are: - New option "Subboxes in In-Basket/Letters". If this option is on then In-Basket/Letters contains boxes in the same way as Read Mail/Letters. - In the names of boxes you can include filter strings for filing texts. For example: "GBC men [*(GBC*]" "Jayapataka Swami Disciples [*JPS]" "Prabhupada Disciples [*Swami][*ACBSP]" - If you log in again without having exited WinCOM since last login, then you don't have to type the password again. Just press ENTER or click OK. - You can search attached files and you can search Cyrillic words. - The character set IDs in WINCOM.FON are now standard. So switching the language in Windows 95/98 between English and Cyrillic should now work.
