Guest guest
I have uploaded following files to "(Computer) Programs (devotee-made)": 16WCOM38.EXE (434k) WinCOM version 38 (16-bit for Windows 3.x) 32WCOM38.EXE (439k) WinCOM version 38 (32-bit for Win 95/98 and NT) 16WC38UP.EXE ( 42k) Update of WinCOM from v37 to v38 (16-bit) 32WC38UP.EXE ( 48k) Update of WinCOM from v37 to v38 (32-bit) It is the same as WinCOM 37 except that some bugs are fixed, especially the bug that let it sometimes crash if you opened a text written by you with an earlier WinCOM version. If you already have WinCOM 37, then you need only the update. To apply the update, exit WinCOM and copy 32WC38UP.EXE (or 16WC38UP.EXE respectively) to the WinCOM folder (the folder that contains WINCOMX.EXE or WINCOM.EXE) and execute it. After installing WinCOM 38 you should do "File"/"Repair the filing cabinet". The address book database file (COMLISTS.DAT) is not included. So if you are installing WinCOM the first time, then after having installed it, run it, open "Commands" and do "Download user and conference lists". (If several users use the same computer, then only one user has to do that). The help file isn't included either (because it does not yet exist). But you can use the help file of version 34 (CMF34HLP.ZIP in "Programs").
