There is one case where WinCOM cannot repair the filing cabinet, namely when

the file header is damaged and important information is corrupted.

Therefore I have uploaded FIXCABHD.ZIP (2326 bytes) which recreates the file

header. Type "FIXCABHD FCABINET.CAB" to fix FCABINET.CAB. But run it only if

WinCOM cannot repair the filing cabinet (after you ran Scandisk etc.).

Afterwards start WinCOM and let it repair the filing cabinet.
