I guess Com checks only files uploaded to Com into any file area.

If the file comes from outside, you might have to decide yourself.

 

In the above example I would not download such a file, if you don't know the

person. Look after the download into the text, what is the description and

if it looks strange, enquire from the sender in a comment.

 

I also got such a text from another e-mail user and it turned out that he

didn't know about having sent anything. So this virus puts himself into

outgoing mails and creates texts to all e-mail addresses found inside that

particular computer.

 

Also I would recommend to set your wincom options in 'login' to 'not'

automatically download attached files, so that you have the option to say

'no'.
