Guest guest
> whenever someone enters a password and has to enter it every day, he has > to be asked some simple questions only the person knows the answers for Somehow COM or WinCOM has to make sure that the right person is sitting at the computer. And the only way is that the user types a certain sequence of keys (that only he knows) when the computer displays a certain prompt. Currently the prompt is something like "Enter Password:" and what the user has to type is called 'password'. You suggested a different prompt, namely a simple question that the user has to answer. But that is equivalent to entering a password. I agree that this authentication has to be done by WinCOM and the result has to be transmitted to COM by a secure protocol like SAP. But for the user it does not matter, he has to enter a password. > You are the programmers. There is the problem. There is only ONE programmer, not programmerS. I don't know what SAP means and I have no time to find it out myself. So please can you send me sample how to implement it or tell me where I can get the sample.
