Now I don't want to delete all of them with those > endings just most of them . Use wildcards in such a way that only those files match that you want to delete. You can specify more that one file specification after "erase my". Syntax of the wildcards: ? matches 1 character, whatever it is * matches zero or more characters, whatever they are [AHG] matches 'A' or 'H' or 'G' [A-Z] matches one character between 'A' and 'Z' [A-FX-Z] matches one character between 'A' and 'F or between 'X' and 'Z' The filenames are case-insensitive.
