Guest guest
PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU PLAN TO INSTALL WINCOM 36 ---------------- Up to version 34 WinCOM automatically starts COMFORT.EXE if you run WINCOMX.EXE instead of COMFORT.EXE so that the Comfort features (Address book, Commands menu, multi-user, batch sessions) are available. From version 35 on more and more Comfort features are and will be built-in in WINCOMX.EXE itself. Therefore WinCOM 35 and later no longer automatically starts COMFORT.EXE. Otherwise those users who want to use the built-in address book etc. could not do so. So before you install WinCOM 36, open the properties of the WinCOM icon and make sure that the command line is "COMFORT.EXE" and not "WINCOMX.EXE". The little word "COM" in the WinCOM icon should be blue, not green.
