I have uploaded following files to "(Computer) Programs (devotee-made)":

WCOMW36.ZIP (408k) WinCOM version 37 (16-bit for Windows 3.x)

WCOMX36.ZIP (399k) WinCOM version 37 (32-bit for Win 95/98 and NT)

WCOMX37U.ZIP (230k) Upgrade of WinCOM from v36 to v37 (32-bit)

The multi-user feature, personal address book and command center are now

built in. But batch sessions and accounting are not supported in WinCOM 37.

So don't install WinCOM 37 if you need batch sessions or accounting.

This time the installation is a little more difficult:

- Unzip the .ZIP file to your WinCOM folder, then

- open the properties of the icon/short-cut that you use to start WinCOM

and in the command line change "COMFORT.EXE" to "WINCOMX.EXE"

(or "WINCOM.EXE" if you have the 16-bit version).

Further the administrators of computers where more than one WinCOM user is

installed should then run their WinCOM, check the connection setups and then

in Options/Common write-protect the common settings.

COMFORT.EXE, ADDRBOOK.EXE, ADDRLIB.DLL, RAMADB16.DLL (in case you have the

32-bit WinCOM version), ADDRBOOK.INI, PGP.PIF, and ZIP.PIF are no longer

needed. You can delete these files, but it does not harm if you leave them

on the hard disk.

Those for whom this is to complicated should wait until I made an

installation program. But I cannot say when it will be finished.
