Guest guest
I have uploaded MCOM05.SIT (320k) to "Programs". It is mainly bug fixes. The changes since version 4 are: - When you click "File To", you can move only one text to the out-basket. - For a "For" receiver there is no "Edit" button, but an "Add" button. - If the export mode is Off, then in the query the operators AND, OR, NOT and XOR are disabled. - The maximum length of a description of an attached file is 255 characters. - The International prefix and the dialing prefix can be up to 39 characters each. - Before logging in MacCOM always asks for the password. This is required so that you can again enter the password after the login failed due to a wrongly entered password. - Connecting through a Telnet proxy is supported. Fixed bugs: - You could not press DELETE to subtract a "For:" receiver. - The attaching of files did not work properly. - If MacCOM was looking for the address of telnet.bbt.se, and you cancelled it, then MacCOM hung. - In the database file the backups of the boxes were not compatible to WinCOM. - The upgrading of the database did not update the indexes. (The address book is still not yet implemented.) To install MacCOM 5, unstuff MCOM05.SIT to the MacCOM folder. If there is already a previous version of MacCOM, then replace the files except NodeInfo.ini. You can delete ZipLib because it is no longer used. By default MacCOM creates/uses the PGP keyring files in the folder "PGP". If you want a different folder, then add the line "PGP Dir=:<PGP folder>" to the [MacCOM] section in MacCOM.ini.
