Guest guest Posted November 8, 1998 Report Share Posted November 8, 1998 I found the bug: If the updump file is large then WinCOM may think that the uploading was not successful although it was successful. (The same bug is also on COM when downloading mail.) I have uploaded WCOM34IU.ZIP (4k) which fixes that bug. (I also included README.W32 which I forgot to put in WCOM34.ZIP/WCOMX34.ZIP.) To apply the patch, unzip WCOM34IU.ZIP to the same directory as WINCOM.EXE and/or WINCOMX.EXE version 34H, and then run WCOM34IU.EXE. It will fix both versions, 16-bit and 32-bit. Afterwards you can delete WCOM34IU.EXE. I also replaced WCOM34.ZIP/WCOMX34.ZIP with following files where this bug is fixed: WCOM34I.ZIP (227k) Upgrade to WinCOM version 34 (16 bit) WCOMX34I.ZIP (227k) Upgrade to WinCOM version 34 (32 bit) If you already have version 34H then you only need to download the patch WCOM34IU.ZIP.
