Guest guest
I have uploaded HJ73.ZIP to "Programs". The changes since v72 are: - New command line option: -a# (where # is a number) If this option is given then the output file is always complete. So when the computer crashed, you can do "continue a suspended hyphenation". Further the dictionary is automatically saved to disk every # minutes. Note: If the input file name has no numeric extension then the extension of the unfinished new file is ".$$$". - If HJ can not write the dictionary to the hard disk, it lets you write it to a diskette. - HJ stores now the parameters in an INI file instead of the EXE file. This INI file is in the same subdirectory as HJ.EXE. - You can also go to the setup (configuration) in the main menu. - HJ now uses a DOS function to get the current time. Before it used a BIOS call, which created problems at midnight. - Fixed bugs: - There was an arithmetic overflow when processing a non-justified paragraph with a large type size. - HJ avoided one-letter words at the end of the line only if that letter was the only character. - It did not work if HJ.EXE was not in the current directory. - The superscript digits and the fractions were not considered as numbers. - If you pressed ENTER at a no-break space (to split the line there) then HJ incorrectly inserted a soft hyphen. - A dash at the beginning of the line was reported at the line above.
