I have ZOOM V.34 PCMCIA modem on my laptop and when I want to dial VSNL

using shell account, through script file, I only get at AT and then OK and

ATZ and OK, and after that when Wincom is supposed to dial the shell account

number, that never happens. I am using same script on the other computer,

and it works fine. Even if I want to dial the number manually in the Wincom

terminal window using ATDT and phone number, just after I hear the phone

line, I get the message that there is no dial tone. So Wincom is not dialing

the number even manually. Why is that? In the Qmpro for Win95, I had the

same problem, and then in the modem properties I unchecked "Wait for

dialtone before dialing" and then it worked fine, but Wicom still doesn't

work.

Please help.
