Guest guest
Dear Prabhus, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Prabhu, about a week back, I opened the Vedabase(Ver.4.11) and have highlighted some portion of a lecture and minimized. I openend the vedabase again without knowing that it is already opened and kept minimized. And after some time I shut down the computer. At that time some remarks came but I did not read it properly and closed. Thereafter if I tried to open the vedabase then a small box with remarks coming as follows: VIEWS This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. Close.. Details... If I click on details the following things coming...... VIEWS caused an invalid page fault in module VIEWS.EXE at 0137:0045fc8f. Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=0137 EIP=0045fc8f EFLGS=00010202 EBX=000001f8 SS=013f ESP=0074f838 EBP=0074f840 ECX=00000000 DS=013f ESI=0074f854 FS=0d0f EDX=bff63c26 ES=013f EDI=00000000 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 00 89 06 85 c0 0f 85 5b ff ff ff b8 01 00 00 Stack dump: 000001dc 00529776 0074f858 0045ae0c 0074f854 000001dc 00527db1 00000000 0074fa90 0045ac95 00527db1 00000000 00000000 c118a8d4 000001f0 756e654d .......................................................................... When I close then another box coming with the following remarks: C:\Bhaktivedanta VedaBase\Infobases\Bhaktivedanta Vedabase... Cannot find the file 'C:\Bhaktivedanta VedaBase\ Infobases\ Bhaktivedanta Vedabase 4 Sh.sdw' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. Prabhu, I have a 486 DX2(66MHZ) computer with 16MB memory and 2.1GB HDU. I have no CD ROM drive. Please advise what should I do. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna. Your servant, Pitambara Caitanya dasa.
