Avoid fried food and too much sweet, pungent and sour food. Not too

much of anything nor too little is what is recommended in the Bhagavad-gita.

Regular exercise such as yoga or swimming helps. Avoid eating at night,

especially sugar and sour food. Sattvic food such as warm natural cow's

milk is good at night. Lighter food such as fruit is not bad at night.

 

Sivananda has written a book on brahmachari life which if you take

Ultimately the secret is to develop an attraction for the beauty of

Lord Krsna through the process of pure devotional service.
