Yogis retain do not waste their semen, which, when retained in the body,

raises up the Sisumara, corresponding with the spine (therefore straight

posture is a must). It's difficult to preserve the semen without special

physical exercises. After all, sages of the past used to say that:

1. There is nothing more difficult in this world, than retaining semen as

long as one wishes.

2. The complexity is in the fact, that the body is generating semen

constantly...

3. It is only an advanced yogi that can live without sleep.

4. If sadhaka (practitioner) is able to retain semen even for three months,

then his gray hair will become black again, wrinkles will be gone, and even

new teeth will be growing and other miracles may happen. But not a single

drop can be lost.

There are still that kind of yogis in the Himalayas (ashram of Sivananda

Swami in Hrishikesh is the example).

Nevertheless, even very advanced yogis encounter with this problem.

Moreover, there is even a special Urdhvareta-yoga, consisting of certain

asanas, kriyas and mudras. These are quite difficult things to do, but

effective enough. All these methods help to retain the juice, but the longer

you do it; the more difficult it becomes, up to the point of mental

deviations; therefore even most determined sadhakas are not recommended to

perform it in Kali-yuga. Yogis recognize this involuntary loss of semen, as

normal function, and it is not considered a falldown, but!!!!!!!!!! the less

often it happens, the better.
