Guest guest
Dear Nayana Ranjan Prabhu, Dandavats! Jai Srila Prabhupada. Can feel the pain and sure that Nityodita prabhu feels more as he stepped down from his status. > How do we take these actions as brahmacaries? Are these actions by a > sannyasi to get married as per guru, sadhu & sastra? Aren't they > demoralizing for other renunciants in the movement? What lessons do we > learn for this? > Don't these set a very dangerous trend for the sannyas ashram in our > Society? Sorry to write here. The society is going through a major change and you are aware of it.It is certainly not examplery but he is honest by putting down his feelings in the letter to Basu ghos Prabhu. I am able to learn myslef that be not a hypocrite living a life for others than for the Guru, Sastra and Sadhu. All the lessons we are going through is very expensive but i am not disturbed at all. These experiences teaches me to be more careful in my Spirtual life and may be for the upcoming devotees in the next 10,000 yrs. > Nityodita Prabhu has justified his change of asrama from sannyas to > grhasta by quotes from Prabhupada in the sixth canto and in 1977. Are you > satisfied with that I am personally satisfied with the letter and appreciate his genuineity to put down his feelings openly. There were in our histories where devotees did mischief in the garb of the sacred sanyas cloth. Here Nityodita prabhu,is disclosing his problems and i feel that we should back him up.The quote is supportive and sure he is not taking adavantage of Srila Prabhupada quote. If he does so,the lord takes care.(I am sorry for this and feel great pain to make this comment on a senior servant of Srila Prabhupada.) > If this trend continues we will very shortly have a flourishing > fifth-ashram in our society comprising of grhasta-turned sannyasis. Surely it will not.It will all stop in due course of time. There will be a wonderful time very very soon, where there is life based only on Srila Prabhupada instructions. It is very difficult to change the situation what our society is going through BUT it will be okay only when each indivdual works himself looking at his heart and questioning himself whether he is upto the standards of Srila Prabhupada. > This has made it so easy to become a grhasta from a sannyasi that it > requires some justification thro. email and that's all. > > I personally would prefer suicide in the ganga at Mayapur than this fifth > ashram business. What else he can do.I am sure Nityodita Prabhu, will not hesitate to commit suicide if Srila Prabhupada told to do so.I appreciate that he is still trying to be Prabhupadas man to his capacity. Note:I Have not seen nityodita prabhu even once . Please forgive me if i have committed any offences to you. Dasanu dasa, Manoram Chaitanya dasa. Yes, just as it is the duty of the ksatriya to ensure that the brahmanas are behaving properly, so why not the duty of temple presidents also to ensure that resident sannyasis are properly following their dharma? >> Don't these set a very dangerous trend for the sannyas ashram in our >> Society? >Yes. I also have personally questioned why the collective sannyasis and the Ministry don't work more vigilantly/diligently/cooperatively to strengthen the sannyasa-asrama within ISKCON. bhavadiya dasa(bhasa)aha, gkdas
