Guest guest
Dear Devotees! Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada! I am very happy to present you our new CD: Harmony of Space - the Vastu-CD. If you want to listen to it or know more about it visit our CD webpage: www.yantra108.de Special highlights: Sudarshana Gayatri, Narashimhadeva Maha-Mantra und Dashavatara Stotra. The CD has been available since September, and has received a lot of very positive feedback both from the few devotees who know it already and from approx. 500 people who bought it from VEDASAN. Yantra, three highly talented devotee musicians, present a wonderful synthesis of traditional raga harmonies, Vedic mantras and modern ethno-music. Filled with feeling, the rhythms (talas), melodies (ragas), and songs (mantras) are inter-twined with traditional instruments and original sounds of nature: tabla, tampura, bamboo flute, karatalas, monsoon rain, wind, yajna fire and the calls of peacocks invoke the mystic scenery of the Far East. Music that purifies and harmonises the spatial atmosphere, and opens up the heart. . . The six songs on this CD are interwoven, following the sequence of an agnihotra yajna. The harmonies (ragas) and mantras chosen for this CD have a strongly harmonising effect on space and soul. 1. Govindam Adi Purusam. At the dawn of creation, Brahma glorified Lord Krishna with this ancient Sanskrit song from the Brahma-Samhita. Fire sacrifices traditionally begin with this mantra. 2. Shanti Pancakam. When the fire yajna (sacrificial fire) has been ignited, the Santi Pancakam is recited as a prayer for peace (shanti) on earth. 3. Sudarshana Gayatri. With the glorification of the Sudarshan chakra, the main part of the yagna for the harmonisation of space begins. 4. Narashimhadeva Maha-Mantra. This ancient Mantra is a prayer to Lord Narashimhadeva who protects His devotees from all dangers and ill fate. 5. Purusha Shuktam. The Purusa Shuktam is a mantra thousands of years old invoking the Virat Purusha, the cosmic form of the Supreme. 6. Dashavatar Stotra. In this song, the ten most important Avataras and the Vastu Purusha are worshipped. These Avatars control the different directions of space, the Vastu Purusha the entirety of space. With this song, the fire yajna is completed, and the atmosphere is now filled with the spiritual energies of Krishna and His Avataras. Reviews: "Everytime I listen to this CD my consciousness is transported to a different time and space -the Vedic Culture. The quality of singing is perhaps the best that I have heard, especially Sita's [srintamba's] whose voice in my estimation surpasses that of the best of the professionals." - Bir Krishna das Goswami, GBC Sita's [srintamba's] mesmerising voice takes the listener on an inward journey of self-reflection. A unique compilation of songs that uplift the spirit in a world burdened with material energy. Highly recommended - - Hari-Dhama Das PhD, hospice care / communications / writer Is it possible that you write something about the new CD in ISKCON world review and BTG? We are praying for your blessings that we can bring the holy names of the Lord and Vedic culture close to people's hearts and minds. Please send the letter on to whomever you think could be interested in the topic.
