In relation to the above, the late Omkara prabhu (who was head pujari in

Vrindavan for many years during the time when srila Prabhupad paid many

visits there) personally told me, when I served with him, that Prabhupad

said that Vibhu Chaitanya prabhu's singing was his japa.

 

(devotees had questioned why he was not chanting so much japa, but was

allowed to cook for the Deity.....)

 

I can remember VC prabhu singing away as he wandered around the kitchen

area, always blissfully doing his humble service for Sri Sri Nitai Gaura,

Krishna Balaram and Radhe Shyamasundar.
