Here in USA, we generally use "Rumford" baking powder as it does not contain aluminum, but it does have corn starch. An equal mixture of arrowroot starch and baking soda is okay for baking on Ekadasi. Perhaps others can post what leavening ingredients they use on Ekadasi?
