My son and several of his classmates read this claim too several years ago and were so fascinated that they decided to replicate it as a school science project. Although the teeth became stained, not a single one dissolved - not even a tiny bit - even though they left them in there for much longer. Having said this, I completely agree that Coke and Pepsi are not particularly good for you and we certainly don't keep them in our house.
