Well, there is plenty of information out there. If we take a look at the ingredients of Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola we see the basis for most sodas with an couple of added ingredients. The basis for most sodas consists of: Carbonated water High Fructose Corn Syrup and/or Sucrose Phosphoric, Benzoic or Citric acid Added ingredients vary from brand to brand, but usually include a coloring agent, caffeine, natural flavors and sometimes herbal extracts. The coloring agent used in all types of Cola is Caramel Color. I wanted to list most of the ingredients found in sodas with additional information in this text, but it soon became too much for just a text. Therefore I have attached it as a zipped file. Please note that this attached file contains a VERY LONG text with exhaustive information. Most of the information comes from the Toxology Network's Hazardous Substances Database.
