Guest guest Posted March 8, 2000 Report Share Posted March 8, 2000 This is especially good for getting kids to eat some protein! 2 C oats, ground fine 1 1/2 water 1/2 C nuts, ground well in blender (peanuts for best flavor) 1/2 C beans, ground in blender (garbanzos are good) 2 C dry bread crumbs or cracker crumbs 1 Tbls italian season 5 Tbls Braggs liquid aminos 1 tsp salt 1/2 grated celery Boil water, then add oats and mix well. Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Add to cooked oats, mix well until uniformly mixed. Make desired size patties (approx. 1/2 inch thick) and fry in a couple of inches of ghee or oil.
