Guest guest
> The following is a quote from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati. > > "In the angle there is always the defect in the shape of absence of > fullness, the evenness of level, of 180 degrees less than 360 degrees. > But in the plain surface, in 360 degrees, there is no such defect. > Ordinary foolish people fail to grasp this simple truth: that in the > emancipated state no defect is possible." > > I would be grateful if anyone could explain this. “The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the complete whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the complete whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.” (Isopanisad, Invocation) The Personality of Godhead (plain surface of 360 degrees), emanations from Him (different angles). Material vision (foolish people): Part of something is not a complete whole. The whole is not complete without its parts. Material duality - different angles are seen as better or worse, absence of fullness (equality). Spiritual vision (emancipated state): The whole (Supreme Personality of Godhead) is complete and perfect even if so many emanations come from Him. All the emanations (angles) are complete wholes, because they are part of that perfectly complete whole. We are all qualitatively equal. The Personality of Godhead is ONE, perfect and complete. His parts and parcels are also ONE, perfect and complete. We are simulteniously ONE (equal, sac-cid-ananda) and different (personality difference, vigraha). Spirit soul is by nature selfsatisfied - perfect and complete. Fullness is absence of selfishness, jealosy and expectations. Ys.
