Dear assembled devotees,

pamho agtsp!

An inquisitive soul has asked me this question (3 aspects):

>>>I had heard during a satsang in the Hare Krishna Temple that Lord will

not incarnate during Kalyuga

>>>... in the Kali-yuga the Lord will not appear/manifest on Earth. Only his

name will be there, like Chaitanya MahaPrabhu.<<<

>>>............. I want to know about this and in which book it is

stated.<<<

Can anyone help supply authoritative references, please.

He also asked when Kali Yuga begins.

I know it was abt 5,200 yrs back, but what scriptural evidence can we quote

to support this? I believe the traditional Panchangams mention the time

elapsed in the present moment with reference to Lord Brahma's life, age,

time. Is that acceptable as authoritative reference?

Thank you

yrs in service

dina
