Guest guest
Dear Shrirang Chikhalikar and all devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga! The poem by Ramdas Swami that was posted here contains very nice statements and insists on chanting Hare Krishna. This is very inspirational and exciting until one tries to learn more about the author. After careful examination of the web site (www.ramdas.org) that covers the teachings of Ramdas Swami and contains examples of his writings, I came to a conclusion that he is a Mayavadi impersonalist and not a real Vaisnava. Upon learning that, my joy turned into frustration and bitter aftertaste. Some Mayavadis do glorify Lord Krishna and His Holy Name, like in this case, but their end is actually to glorify themselves. After all, their main concept is that everything and everyone is God, so by glorifying God they praise none other than themselves. This is highly offensive to God and therefore must not be heard by Vaisnavas who consider themselves as humble servants of the servants of the Lord. Considering the above, I strongly recommend everyone to avoid reading this poem, so that they don't get contaminated like I did. Hare Krishna! Your servant, Gauri das
