Hare Krsna,PAMHO.AGTSP.In his book Lives of the Vaisnava Acaryas Volume III

BABAJI MAHARAJA "Two beyond duality" Karnamrta dasa Adhikari Prabhu mentions

When it seemed that Gaura-kisora dasa Babaji's eyesight was

deteriorating,Srila Sarasvati Thakura requested him to go to Calcutta for

treatment.Takura Bhaktivinoda also repeatedly requested him to go there, but

Srila Gaura-kisora would reply,"I will never go to the illusory

universe,Calcutta" Once,Srila Bhaktivinoda Takura informed Babaji Maharaja

that his servant,Srila Sarasvati Takura, would stay with him in Calcutta and

thus Babaji Maharaja would not have to suffer any inconvenience there.Up on

hearing this Srila Gaura-kisora Prabhu replied,"I will never accept service

from Prabhu, rather I shall die by drowning. If I die drowning myself in the

Ganges,I will become a ghost--so I will drown myself in Sarasvati."Repeating

this statement,Srila Gaura-kisora then left posthaste, running towards the

Sarasvati River, which flowed close to the entrance to Svananda Kunja......

..............Then just as suddenly,he reappeared at Svananda Kunja and

announced,"I can't achieve Sri Krsna by killing myself.Nevertheless,I cannot

tolerate anyone serving me." Can any one may please help me to understand

the Superiority of Sarasvati River over Ganges River. My Pranam in advance.
