Anya kona subhakarma va prayascitte namaparadha ksaya haya na.] Continuous chanting means: Chanting all the time expect what is required for bodily maintainence activities like resting etc. This continuous chanting should be done with great feeling & urgency. The offenses cannot be eliminated by any other way including the process of engaging in pious activities or atonement. tabe aparadha kabhu sthana nahi paya Only by continuous chanting will the offenses never take hold and one can keep them at bay. diva ratra nama laya, anutapa kore tabe aparadha jaaya nama phala dhore If one chants the Name day & night with great repentance and determination then and only then will all the offenses will be obliterated and the Name will bear fruit. aparadha jaate suddha namera udaya As soon as the offenses cease, the chanter will become qualified to chant the pure Name and enter the kingdom of God. suddha nama bhavamaya ara premamaya The pure Name will bring the chanter to the platform of bhava and then prema and is synonymous with both these stages. dasa-aparadha jena hrdaye na pase On such a platform the ten offenses will never again enter into the heart of the chanter and he will continuously taste the highest transcendental bliss engaged in his constitutional loving service to the Lord in the spiritual realm. {Comment: So my dear devotees, let us take continuous, uninterrupted shelter of the Holy Names and achieve the highest platform in a short time.} This extract is by Srila Haridasa Thakura describing the glories of the chanting the Holy Name to Lord Caitanya on the request of the Lord and is found in the book Hari-nama-cintamani by Thakura Bhaktivinoda, which is a necklace worn around the necks of the those highly elevated sadhakas who consider the chanting of the Holy Names to be more dear to them then their own life-breadth.
