Throughout the Goswami literatures, it has been written that Lord Balarama serves Lord Krishna in the form of various paraphenalias used by the Lord such as bed, umbrella, seat etc. Also in order to serve Lord Krishna in the rasa-lila, Lord Balarama expands Himself as Ananga manjari.
