Guest guest
>Surely it would have been better when Srila Prabhupada left us, if all the devotees had gathered together, in their respective yatras, studied & discussed Srila Prabhupadas books and instructions with great dilligence, and had a worldwide sankirtana of prayer,> We can do that even now,--- better late than never. Or infact we must do this every day... but I do no understand the motive in the following prayer, >begging the Lord to send us another perfected sadhu, who could guide us and reveal to us the mystery that lies within Srila Prabhupadas teachings,> when by the blessings and mercy of Srila Prabhupada, there are so many sincere perfect Sadhus (As long as a devotee sincerely tries to follow in the foot steps of previous Acarya under the direction of current Acarya (here by Current Acarya I do not mean the founder Acarya, but simply a bonafide Guru), he is a perfect Sadhu...sorry I do not have a quote but that is what I understand from Srila Prabhupada's books. The basic problem with us is we think that a pure devotee was there only in the past or he will come only in the future, and there are no pure devotees (perfected Sadhus) at present. In Srila Prabhupada's words then what/where is that *missing link*? One must understand that pure devotees or perfected Sadhus are present at all times, in all ages. Other wise there would be no Parampara. Please correct me if this my understanding is wrong. Your humble servant, Bhadra Govinda Das.
