Guest guest
Haribol Narahari Prabhu, _/\o_ > does someone know who Lord Brahma is in Krsna Lila? Since Brahma (Caturmukha Brahma of our universe) participated in Krsna-lila in his Brahma-body and he is not mentioned in svarupa-lists in Krsna- and Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika as far as I know we can say that he is not part of the lila in his svarupa. > Further I would like to know if somone knows where Lord Jesus is, I heard > some speculatation that he is also Brahma, because he is in a simelar mood > as Haridas Thakur or Pralad Maharaja? Prithu P.: As far as Jesus descending from Satyaloka, this statement is based on a testimony of Makhanlal ACBSP Prabhu, who heard Srila Prabhupada saying this in the San Francisco days. I asked him repeatedly and he is absolutely sure, SP did say this. Just like SB says: "In that planet of Satyaloka, there is neither bereavement, nor old age nor death. There is no pain of any kind, and therefore there are no anxieties, save that sometimes, due to consciousness, there is a feeling of compassion for those unaware of the process of devotional service, who are subjected to unsurpassable miseries in the material world. (SB 2.2.27) However I also found another statement which is offsetting Makanlala's testimony: SP says: "Similarly, in the Christian world, the Bible is worshiped. It is a fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is present by His words. Krishna is also present by His words. These personalities, either God or the son of God, who come from the transcendental world, keep their transcendental identities without being contaminated by the material world. (Krishna, The Reservoir of pleasure) In my future publication I will offer both possibilities, unless Makhanlal Prabhu retracts his version of course, I'll see him in LA about it. As far as Jesus being in Vaikuntha, here is what SP says: Bhaktijana: Does Jesus Christ reside in the Vaikunthas or Brahmaloka? Prabhupada: No, Vaikuntha. He's person. Brahmaloka, Brahmaloka is within this material world, and Vaikuntha, in the spiritual world. Do you follow what I say? (Boston Dec 23, 1969) I'd say we don't have enough information to ascertain this. Both Brahmaloka and Vaikuntha makes sense though. Jesus being Brahma makes no sense to me. There is no sastric support for this. Hope this helps. ys bh. Jan
