Guest guest
Dear Katha Forum Readers, We've added the 21 verses of Eastern Ocean, Wave Three, on Prema Bhakti, including an elaborate comment (drawn mainly from Vishvanath Chakravarti's Madhurya Kadambini) on 1.4.15-16 concerning the step by step development of prema. http://www.the-gita.net/BRS/1-4-1.htm This means the the ENTIRE EASTERN OCEAN is now translated and available online. I will begin work on the Southern Ocean next week. Check the DISCUSSION BOARD for discussions on interesting bits from this new section before they get published. You can also use this forum for discussions regarding the Eastern Ocean. I am going back through the first three waves, adding the grammar checks of a Sanskrit editor, and making all the formatting consistant throughout. I am also adding all the 20 or so shlokas from Bhagavatam I skipped in the beginning of the Second Wave. I am also adding word for word translations of each shloka, but I don't expect that to be complete for some time. I will also make Adobe Acrobat versions of the entire Eastern Ocean when I'm done with this first editorial pass. I'll make those availible to you through this site. They will have all diacritic marks, formatting, and even the Devanagari script for each shloka. I will not likely revise the html versions of the shlokas and comments, (which have also been upgraded in this pass), unless there is a compitent and willing person out there who can do it for me (take the ms Word files and update the HTML files with them). Don't forget, I am using diacritics now. The fonts (Tamal, Hladini) are availible on the homepage: http://www.the-gita.net/BRS Please enjoy the new section on Prema Bhakti (http://www.the-gita.net/BRS/1-4-1.htm) Vraja Kishor Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu Website http://www.the-gita.net/BRS This message is sent to the Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu Update List.
