Yes, there was a debate in our auditorium. Other devotees were Vaisnavas and I

with three other devotees became Mayavadis.

 

And because it was not planned earlier, my other three friends accepted defeat

even though they were not actually defeated and ofcourse I did not do so and

the Vaisnavas looked defeated because they were not prepared properly. So it

became very humororus.

 

So I suggest debates for preaching should be preplanned very systematically

where each side get a chance to put all the arguments in their bag. So the

audience gets the complete picture about all the points of the Mayavadis (for

eg) and the Vaisnava arguments to demolish them.

 

Also the moderator should be very resourceful and dynamic.
