I conclude from what is written here: "we can expect Krsna to reciprocate such insincerity by withdrawing His mercy", that KC is an elitist path and that it does not favour varnashrama dharma. Taken in a certain context, this quote is a warning to the "big" or great devotees especially. That is the philosophy. Prabhupada said: "don't compromise". But what can a miserable bhakta hope if "falldowns, even mental, are damaging to our devotional service"? Disqualification! Disqualification from everything, since KC means everything. For what is a use of any qualification when you are not KC? "Thus the privilege of devotional service is lost." We have a long way to go before the golden age… Thank you for sharing your thoughs.
